ValveBot

ValveBot is an Arduino-driven device I designed for Cray to automate tedious computer module fluid-flow characterization tests in Cray's fluids lab. It works by reading in signals from a pressure gauge, flow meter, and thermocouple, which it logs values from with each turn.

This device nearly doubled the amount of computer modules that could be tested per day and provided approximately 30% increase in measurement consistency when compared against previous manual methods. Valvebot is now used across geographies at Cray in both Wisconsin and Texas hardware developement facilities.
